Pursuant to section 2(0.1) of the Ontario Collection and Debt Settlement Services Act (CDSSA), RSO 1990, c. C.14 and subsection 22(1) of General Regulation, RRO 1990, Reg. 74, enacted under the Ontario CDSSA, I dispute owing the above-referenced debt and I suggest that the matter be taken to court.
If your collection agency or any of its employees contact me by telephone following receipt of this written communication I will take appropriate action including, but not limited to, filing a formal written complaint with the Ontario Registrar of Collection Agencies, as well as seeking legal advice in connection with commencing a civil lawsuit.
