Pursuant to Paragraph 3, 2.1, of Quebec's An Act Respecting the Collection of Certain Debts, CQLR c R-2.2, I contest the debt and advise that the creditor may proceed with legal action.
If your collection agency or any of its employees contact me by telephone following receipt of this written communication I will take appropriate action including, but not limited to, filing a formal written complaint with the Quebec regulator responsible for supervising the conduct of collection agencies, as well as seeking legal advice in connection with commencing a civil lawsuit.
